Walk in the footsteps of the greats at Central Hall Westminster

By Elodie Dickinson, Sales Executive

It was my first time visiting Central Hall Westminster last week and I was absolutely blown away by the Great Hall. Hearing all about the history and the previous events that they have done in this amazing space was spellbinding.  Let me enlighten you with some of the fascinating facts that I learnt:

  • Winston Churchill, Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King Jr. and many others have addressed audiences of over 2,000 on stage at Central Hall.
  • Dr. Paul Bruce Dickinson, frontman of heavy metal band Iron Maiden, became an Honorary Doctor of Music at Central Hall Westminster in 2011.
  • The Bloody Sunday Inquiry was held in the Lecture Hall and Library.
  • Six international TV companies filmed the Royal Wedding from the roof at Central Hall in 2011.
  • It is Europe’s largest self-supporting concrete dome ceiling.

Situated in the heart of Westminster, this Grade II listed building is in the perfect location with great transport links. With 25 different spaces, it makes it the perfect venue for large scale conferences for up to 2,000 guests or intimate meetings. KUDOS provides world class food options – all containing locally sourced ingredients that are both fresh and seasonal.
