Are you ready to dance the night away at Porchester Hall?

By Jermaine Humphrey, Sales Executive

The amazing Grade II listed Porchester Hall, situated in Bayswater, is truly incredible as a venue. Porchester Hall was built in 1923-1925 by the local architect Herbert Shepherd and in 1927-1929 it was extended by Shepherd and H. A. Thomerson.

The Assembly Hall is an unusually rich example of its date with the entrance way via the main central entrance. It retains original teak doors and screens. As your guests walk through these screens, they arrive at the opulent grand staircase with its broad marble steps, wrought iron and bronze balustrading under a large glazed dome leading to the double-height Assembly Hall. The Hall itself features a stage and ancillary serving rooms; several notable pop music acts have performed there, including Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, Kylie Minogue and Amy Winehouse.

This year, if you’re looking for a superb open space, Porchester Hall is perfect for concerts, banquets, charity events, balls and galas. The Hall seats 400 for dinner and holds up to 650 for standing events.
